A Black and White Sunday

Leaving on a jet plane…

Heyjude

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

  1. Interesting effect, isn’t it? Starting at the top I thought it was someone’s kitchen ceiling but then I got the full image. 🙂 🙂

      1. Don’t think so, Sue. Haven’t had time to be out much today. It’s muggy and a bit overcast and I need the time on here. 🙂

        1. The sky is wonderfully dark. Who remembers rain? 🙂 🙂 Just come back from a tootle, and got half an eye on the Hampton Court Flower Show. Good GP?

    1. Not one of my photos for a change – one featuring me and taken by my daughter on her phone. No idea what she edited with.

    1. The other side indeed LD. This was one of those memorable journeys. Flight was fine and short. Arrived 8 pm. Then we waited for three hours for the luggage to be removed from the plane at Gatwick. No information. Nothing on the baggage indicator. I tell you I was going spare as I wanted to drive back to Cornwall (5-6 hours). Finally arrived home at 4 am.

        1. Not for ages. My daughter and I hung around waiting for information on the board. After an hour we sought out the information desk and found everyone else from the flight gathered there complaining. Apparently the luggage compartment door was jammed, but this wasn’t explained until yet another hour had passed. Lesson learned. Only take hand luggage for a long weekend.
