October Squares

My Kind Of menu

KindaSquare is the theme this month as Becky is hoping we might, in the final squares of 2020, encourage and promote kindness.  A year I don’t think any of us will forget in a hurry. If you would like to join in then visit the link.

Heyjude

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

    1. The price you pay when eating and drinking out. Actually we had the pinot noir which was nice. Though we can get a decent bottle for under £15

        1. Prices here have risen a lot. We had a voucher from my son so it was OK, but we won’t be back. It used to be quite reasonable and good food. No longer the case.

    1. I can get some decent wines from a local merchant who I discovered during lockdown. Not at these prices either, although he does have some really expensive bottles in his catalogue.

    1. It certainly is! Just found you in the spam folder Brian, no idea what you have been doing to end up there. Are you a red or white wine drinker? Or both?

  1. I’m glad you had a kind treat from your boy. I have been doing really well with taking a break from drinking during the last few months. I can’t say I miss it, though I am sometimes tempted.
