October Squares

The October theme offers something for absolutely everybody – a chance to share past posts, past squares and glimpses of the past. I’m going to mix it up a bit, with photos that have appeared in previous Square challenges, some that didn’t make the final and some new photos that would have done. Day 13

If you want to join in either daily, weekly or just on the odd occasion then please visit Becky, the only rule is that the photo MUST be a square – that is four equal sides! You have been warned πŸ˜‰

Heyjude

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

    1. The colour of the stone (Hamstone) in this part of the country is truly gorgeous. This building would make a lovely writing or reading retreat.

    1. I can’t say I was enamoured by the place, I like NT places for gardens first and foremost, this is mainly parkland and a bit of a formal garden. Should have gone to Tintinhull whilst we were close by.

  1. It’s a very long time since I was last in Somerset. I always found it to be a county that couldn’t quite decide what it was. πŸ™‚
    Best wishes, Pete. x
