I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling. View all posts by Heyjude

Applause! Applause! I like these 🙂 🙂 How’s the dodgy foot?
Dodgy foot?
Trapped nerve caused excruciating pain over the weekend. Couldn’t bear any weight at all.
Oh yikes…improving?
yikes from me too 😦 really hope you are on the mend. Sending hugs and lots of fireman lifts xxx
OK now – lasted overnight. Ice and rest helped. Still a weird burning sensation from the knee down though so something is not quite right. And yes I will make that appt with the podiatrist!
Ooh sounds most bizarre and most painful too. Hope the podiatrist can figure it out xxxx
Great shadows, Jude! You must have had some sun!
Lovely sun!! Off to a garden today whilst it lasts!
Ah, you must be feeling better!
I love how shadows mostly look so different to the objects involved in casting them
Nice one, Jude. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete. x
Lovely shadows (and lovely key ring too 😊).
Very expensive keyring! But I bought the Victorian housekeeper’s cupboard for a bargain £250 when modern ones were at least £1000.
Definitely a bargain for that cupboard! Balances out the keyring… 😉
Well seen. I hope the foot is better too
That’s a lovely shot.
Perfect Jude! Thanks for joining us
Hope your foot is better. I do love the key-ring. Even the boychild would have trouble losing keys attached to that.
Haha… yes, not the sort to keep in the pocket. I have two of them, sort of Chinese looking and they look fab on the old Victorian keys.
The carved beads are gorgeous. And the knot-work. 😀
wonderful shadows xx
That is a pretty ornament to hang from your door.
It adds character to an old cupboard 🙂
