I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

  3. Lovely gallery Jude 😀 The duck made me smile, the watch is pretty cool, great signs and lights. Come Monday also bang it on Monday Window, some great windows especially the green shutters 😀

  5. I love these details, especially the first set of shutters. I think my favourite has to be the cat sign at the top though – I’m a ‘cat person’! 🙂

  7. I liked seeing the shutters. When I first visited Europe (France) aged 11, I was fascinated by painted shutters that seemed to be everywhere.
