Heyjude

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

        1. These were in a market in Barcelona. I didn’t buy any, but I have had the occasion to eat fresh strawberries in Spain and they were not only enormous but also very flavoursome.

  1. The blur is good, as it takes a moment to realise they are strawberries. I stopped eating them years ago, when they no longer tasted of strawberry.

    Best wishes, Pete. x

    1. I agree, we don’t seem to have very tasty ones here. I do grow some, but slugs and / or birds get to them before me!

  2. Yum! I still buy supermarket strawberries to go on our porridge in the morning but I try to stick to Angus or Perthshire which I think taste a bit better than the English ones – and loads better than the Egyptian ones.
