I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

    1. It is not a colour I can wear, but I do like it and have used it often to decorate my homes. And who can resist yellow daffodils?

  7. Damned minah birds… But those plovers… They’re a poster in defiance of evolutionary theory. Fancy building your nest on the ground and expecting a lengthy life expectancy for your offspring. (Cute offspring, but.)

    1. only 3 months to spring Sherri, and after tomorrow the days start to get longer. Going south for November is to be recommended. 🙂

    1. Such a joyful colour isn’t it? And nature is very good in using it. Roll on spring and the first crocuses, primroses and daffodils 🙂
