Finding Shadows
Without light there would be no shadows.
Without light there would be no shadows.
I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling. View all posts by Heyjude

I love the variety of shadows – 🙂 the bridge one is my fav – ❤
All taken on one walk in October (except the header which is from Sydney) – there seemed to be shadows everywhere!
how cool it was all in one walk – and what a way to preserve the day!
Great shots =)
Thank you 🙂
I love the curve of the bridge, and the circles in the left one.
I liked the circles 🙂
Nice clicks!
Top beach shot is great. The sparseness of the beach with the wooden post on the left casting the shadow.
I did like that post 🙂
Always nice not to get your own shadow in there too, as these photos can be tricky. Good selection Jude, and the beach shot transferred well from colour.
Regards as always, Pete. x
Cheers Pete. I almost think it looks better in B&W.
I agree, it makes it ‘timeless.’ x
Nice take on shadow Jude.
A literal take, but I have been away this weekend so no time to think out of the box! Glad you liked them 🙂
A nice variety of shadows, Jude!
Predictable but at least they were all fences of some kind (except the beach one)
Perfect…
I like your new look here. Yellow makes for a happy place. Always makes me smile.
I like your choices for the challenge and I like the bridge best as well, although I wouldn’t be caught crossing it. Eek. 😀
Oh Tess, thank you 🙂 And no need to be scared on that bridge, it was very safe and very small and only crossed a very little river. The perspective makes it look much bigger than it really is!
Nice and straight too. 😀 ❤
