Let the sun shine in…

The Weekly Photo Challenge is about Doors. Those of you who are regulars to my blog will know that I am quite partial to a door or two. My last post explained about the importance of having the correct colour for your front door so that everything was good in Feng Shui terms. One colour escaped me though. A yellow door. Lo and behold on a house hunting trip to Penzance I spied one across the road. And naturally had to take a photograph.

Heyjude

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

  1. I love those sunray patterns, often found on Art Deco houses, stained glass, and as door inserts. Yellow is a most suitable colour for that gate.

  2. That yellow and green together shouldn’t work, but it does – lovely. Re the sunray, friends once bought a house with a beautiful Art Deco sunray mirror and room dividing screen and they took them out!

    1. …and with a dwarf living in each one? Sounds like a children’s book tale if ever there was one to be written
