For the month of July I’m looking for a bench with ‘Unusual Details’
(This month I want to see photos of a bench which is different to the norm. It may be the shape, style, length, height, colour, material or even location that attracts your attention)

If you would like to join in with the Bench photo challenge then please take a look at my Bench Series page. No complicated rules, just a bench and a camera required 🙂
- Create your own post and title it Bench Series: July
- Include a link to this page in your post so others can find it too
- Add the tag ‘bench series’ so everyone can find the benches easily in the WP Reader
- Get your post in by the end of the month, as the new bench theme comes out on the first Sunday in August.
My Picks of the Week:
Some natural offerings this week from Aletta and Elaine and Sylvia
Debbie has found a ‘flower pot’ and both Tgeriatrix and Restlessjo have discovered benches covered in tiles, but for an elegant bench then take a look at Violetsky’s and a most intriguing one from Isobel
So many unusual benches! I thank you all 🙂
Cool serpent bench.
Rather unusual, but I’m not sure I’d like the idea of a serpent bench 🙂
Now that is seriously different from the norm Jude. Let’s hope those two serpents stay in stone.
Too right!
You’re welcome! Using the injury timeout to read your post 🙂 🙂 Canterbury, huh? I may have seen this one.
Watching Murray is always SO draining! Wish the lad could find his fighting spirit without having to teeter on the brink!
Very unusual detail, Jude. Thanks for the mention. 🙂
Thank YOU for sharing it. And with your lovely MiL too 🙂
This bench looks quite oriental – I was surprised to read that it’s in Kent!
Murray got our blood pressure up again today!
He did! I need a holiday after all the tennis – and no doubt so does he!
Great style of bench Jude. I love the flow of it. Mine has wild animals this week too. https://memoriesaremadeofthisblog.wordpress.com/2015/07/20/bench-series-july-unusual-detail-3/
Did you miss last week’s Jude??? https://memoriesaremadeofthisblog.wordpress.com/2015/07/13/bench-series-july-unusual-detail-2/
Thanks PP. I didn’t miss last weeks, it was a cracker, but I was pushed for time so only linked the first five or so I came across. I usually only link to five otherwise it takes so long! Hopefully people do visit other bench links from within the comments. I shall be over soon 🙂
Yes I di usually check them from the comments but like you say time some times gets away…
