Square September: Pink

Becky’s September square photo challenge Day four!  She would like us to share photos which embrace ‘pink’ –  there could be pink in the photo, the subject or photographer could be ‘tickled pink’*, or indeed looking ‘in the pink’*.  A photo that manages to do all three things is the ultimate offering.

Vurnik House or the Cooperative Business Bank building Ljubljana – outrageously pink.

*in the pink’ means in perfect condition, or in good health, and ‘tickled pink’ means delighted.

Heyjude

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

        1. Sorry! Couldn’t resist. Sometimes I have to pinch myself to think we live only 10 minutes away from that view.

    1. The lion wasn’t garish. Come to think of it he wasn’t very pink either. No, there will be some more subtle shades coming, I promise you. Just trying to stay away from flowers until the end. Possibly.

      1. I am feeling fabulously dim after watching Rafa from 3 this morning till after 7. Now to find some energy for t’ai chi. Might have to be an early night 🙂 🙂

        1. If it had finished a little earlier I planned to but it was broad daylight. Wide awake now! It was a fantastic battle 🙂 🙂

        2. Oh wow Jo. You are, what I think are called, a true superfan! Hope you’ve recovered today xx

        3. Fine thanks. Will probably have a repeat performance tomorrow. Now if I could be part of the entourage, I wouldn’t have this problem. 🙂 🙂

    1. I am surprised that I seem to have so much pink! Not finding a lot around here other than flowers.

        1. Hee hee. I do that all the time. Do check out the national website, you may be pleasantly surprised 😁

        2. I have found a church that looks interesting. Goodness knows whether there will be anywhere to park though!
