The new January Squares challenge, hosted as ever by Becky, the Queen of Squares, is all about ____light. In this often dull month light of any kind is what we all need to lift our spirits as we wait impatiently for spring to begin. Click on the link to find out more.
Sunlight in my conservatory
Sunlight (noun) = light from the sun.
January Squares | Day Sixteen
I have sunlight on my screen as I type this. Nothing like a bright morning to start the day in a good mood. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete. x
Hah! Lucky you, it still felt like the middle of the night at 10 am here.
Clouding over now, just in time for Ollie’s walk! 🙂
Well you don’t want him to get sunburned!
Nothing like a drop of sunshine to raise the spirits. Ours this morning scooted off and let the rain back in.
It never even arrived here 😦
There’s supposed to some high pressure later in the week 🤔
Mmm… yes along with the frost! But it will be so nice to be able to get out for a walk without being blown away!
…or slithering and sliding in mud.
That too!
Can i come and join you in there for afternoon tea, assuming of course it will be a sunny day!
A nice Cornish Cream Tea do you?
perfect, what time shall I arrive!
Best wait until we actually have some sun!
Good point!
We might have some sunshine today.
Yay!
This is a lovely summery scene – just the thing to look at on a dull, damp day. 😊
Some time in October, probably the last decent day we have had! 😂
As late as October – I had imagined a July/August day. 🙂 Fingers crossed for some better weather soon – it’s a long time to wait from October.
Looks very tidy 🙂 🙂 What were you doing hanging about taking photos if the sun was shining? And what about my invite for a cream tea? 🙂
You can come too! This was taken after I had cleaned the conservatory after painting it and brought the overwintering plants inside 🙂
Looks very attractive 🙂 🙂
Not quite like that now, it’s in its winter dress…
😔💕
Ooh now that looks a very lovely spot flooded with Cornish sunshine Jude, always good to capture it while you can Lol
I’m rather taken with your cheery tablecover .. is it an Angie Lewin design ?
I don’t know the designer Poppy, but I looked her up and yes it does have a similarity. The table cloth is from https://www.onlyoilcloths.co.uk/oilcloth-range/modern-oilcloths/
They do have a great range Jude .. thanks for the link .. now I know where to turn to when I change my starry one 🙂
That’s a very cheery nook in your conservatory, Jude. Very inviting little spot.
Thanks Liz, not very inviting at the moment though as it’s a bit chilly in there!
Great burst of sunlight, Jude!
This looks like a really nice spot.
It is nice in the spring and summer, not much sun in winter.
