Heyjude

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

  1. They looked delicious and the shot is beautifully “arranged.” So often here peaches and nectarines look great but aren’t good inside or never ripen. 😢

    1. The ones we get in the supermarkets are often disappointing, small and hard and not pleasant. I remember as a child going to the market with my mother and she would buy me a huge peach where the juice would dribble down my chin. (She also used to buy me a cream meringue, but that’s another story).

    1. I prefer the nectarines, but they have to be juicy. Often here they remain hard and don’t ripen properly.

  2. brilliant composition, although so good that I feeling frustrated I cannot grab one of them to eat!
