Although the anniversary bench challenge came to an end in December, seeing this scene made me wish it hadn’t. So many benches! And that’s not all, there were plenty more in the gardens from where I had this viewpoint.
I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

Wow, there are plenty of spot to sit for a while there and enjoy the view. I think I will be taking photos of benches forever now. It’s become a habit and I think of you every time I see a nice one. I’m glad you found my cat bench. It’s a beauty.

Benches in every nook and cranny, what a view. I’d need a bench hiking up and down the cliff. It looks like it could go a lot higher.
I didn’t attempt to climb up the cliff. Nor down to the beach!
