In 2005, the Ucluelet First Nation raised their first totem pole in over 100 years, the beautifully carved pole was created by James ‘Hudson’ Cootes, the pole can be found along the trail to South Beach just a short distance away from the Wickaninnish Interpretive Centre in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve of Canada.
