Weekly Photo Challenge: Split-Second Story

Just another day in Paris…

For this week’s challenge, we want you to become a documentary photographer and attempt to capture a candid moment of a person, place, or thing.

Heyjude

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

  1. I going to say that the woman in the red coat would rather be somewhere else, with someone else. Anyone got a different take?
    Great stuff Jude.
    Regards as always, Pete. x

  2. Great capture, Jude. I have to agree with beetleypete about the woman in the red coat. I also think that the woman with the pink backpack can’t wait to get out of there.

    1. yes , the lady with the backpack looks as though she is arguing with the bloke she is with. “I’d rather go to that bistro round the corner”

  3. Perhaps the woman in the red coat is watching a meteor falling out of the sky 🙂 Great photo that obviously has us thinking.

    1. Fascinating what you guys have picked up on here! I did notice her gazing into the sky, but what really caught my attention was the guy with the baguette. I wondered if he’d bought it at the pub or in the street market!

  4. I say the man in the brown shirt is thinking he’d rather be playing on the pinball machine…either that or he’s looking at the bloke sitting to the far left…
