A different twist on the weekly photo challenge this week made me think hard about which of my images I’d choose to grace the cover of a book or album or magazine.
How about this one for an Arts Magazine?
or this for a CD cover?

Fabulous floral portraits 🙂
But, oh so difficult to choose which ones to use… 🙂
Oh, yes, I know that problem far too well too 😉
Without a doubt, all of the above are picture perfect. I might need to contact you one of these days begging for a photo suitable for my book cover. ❤ ❤
beg away Tess 🙂
I m.e.a.n. it, and I will when the time is right. Don’t hold your breath, though. Sigh. ❤
A totally splendid post Jude. Every cover is superb. I specially love the snails.
Thanks Meg. All the sculpture photos were taken at RHS Wisley gardens. Some are permanent, others there for a sculpture exhibition.
The arts magazine has it, Jude. 🙂 I’d buy that!
Effective putting them all together. I enjoyed thinking about this challenge, though it took me a while to decide which ones to use.
Yes, yes, yes and yes!! I’d snatch up the garden book in a heart beat and subscibe to the art magazine 🙂
😀 😀
I guess you liked these…
xx
YES 🙂
Jude they all appeal to me but the first art cover book is spectacular. As you know I keep going on about the way you use variety and this is such a perfect example. I also love the splashes of color amongst the black and white.
Much appreciated Sue. It is so nice to hear that you find my results so aesthetically pleasing. 🙂
I do and will admit to photography envy. I brush that aside quickly and study your gorgeous shots instead. 🙂
If you like flowers you might like a browse at http://smallbluegreenflowers.wordpress.com/ where I post about flowers and gardens, and some occasional arty shots too 😀
Such gorgeous photos Jude. Now following along. 🙂
soooooo beautiful. 🙂
Thank you Yvette 🙂
🙂
I would open every one of those books, and the CD cover looks intriguing so I think I might listen to it. 🙂
Haha… my thoughts were that it would be suitable for the hobbit soundtrack, if there was one!
This is what we call an embarrassment of riches Jude! All lovely but I’m partial,to the cd cover myself!
Oh, thank you Tina. I quite enjoy playing around with orbs, it’s surprising what the results are!
The lot. I’d open every book.
Yeh, well, that’s because you are a very curious person M-R 😉
