Β Sydney
Whilst in the city last week I couldn’t help but be attracted to the angular shapes formed by the modern high-rise buildings in the CBD. Everywhere I looked, shapes and angles and colours and reflections beckoned. Not to mention the various angles I had to use to capture these images.

Oh, and can you have curved angles?

I don’t know if you can have ‘curved angles’ Jude, but you certainly found some interesting angles in Sydney!
Regards as always, Pete. x
Got a bit of a crick in the neck Pete, but more enjoyable than looking down!
Great variety, Jude. It sounds like you’re having a fantastic trip and now I’ll have a laugh thinking of all the crazy angles we’ve been pressed into trying to get a perfect shot. π
The challenge was perfect for me this week – I was going to do a post on the shapes and angles anyway! And yes, I did attract a few odd looks!
You sure van, Jude – as you have discovered ! π
Stringer used to advise me to look UP when in the city, as I would see a quite different place. But he wasn’t talking to me as one photog. to another, I do assure you !!!! {grin}
“Hold your head up…” or as the French say “Lever le nez”
Except that in Sydney for a large proportion of the year that makes you sneeze from all the horrible dust being put into the atmosphere by the London Plane trees …
Oops – sorry!
{grin}
Those of us who are not affected by said “horrible dust” are feeling rather superior right now. π
Hmph.
Fabulous collage of angles.
Thank you π
Whoa. So many angles, I’m dizzy with indecision. π Awesome.
π
What a dizzying gallery of angles. I have visions of you hanging upside down to capture some of them. π
Not quite Sue π
When you crop everything else out they are great images Jude, I really like ‘feeling blue’. That’s not to say they are good as they are!
I know what you mean Gilly, this theme is nice but there isn’t much space for the actual post, I may have to have a change when I get back. Trouble with that is it often alters previous posts in a bad way!
These are great shots – this week’s challenge topic couldn’t have been better!
I think someone on WP is stalking me – the topics have been perfect!
Excellent photos and it shows the power of shooting to a theme. Great stuff.
Well to be honest Andrew, I’d already taken these photos, just thinking of a post to put together when along comes the WPC. Perfect! But you can see how barking mad I am. I have more…
I think you have well and truly addressed the challenge. I love the Lego one.
Lego one? Is that the blue one that I called crisp?
That’s the one. π
Also my favourite π
