For the month of February let’s see your benches processed in Black and White

If you would like to join in with the Bench photo challenge then please take a look at my Bench Series page. No complicated rules, just a bench and a camera required 🙂
- Create your own post and title it Bench Series: February
- Include a link to this page in your post so others can find it too
- Add the tag ‘bench series’ so everyone can find the benches easily in the WP Reader
- Get your post in by the end of the month, as the new bench theme comes out on the first Sunday in March
My Picks of the Week:
A bench swamped by students from Klara
Daily Musings pays tribute to a friend
Pauline is in Tasmania this week, which looks more like England than Oz
An unusual background in old Amsterdam
and a couple you really wouldn’t want to sit on at the moment in Norway from a new entrant, Amanda.
and for a warmer photo Gilly has a lovely example of lines, patterns and contrasts.
Thanks to everyone who has joined in with this challenge so far.
Lovely shot and jut perfect in b&w. The angle is perfect and the shadows are perfect.
Here is my b&w bench for the week: http://travelwithintent.com/2015/02/15/amazing-bench-walt-disney-concert-hall/
Jude – another stunning winner !!! Such unique ‘benches’ captured with unique light and shadows. Great photo!!
Interesting benches.
I like this one. The lines really make you look.
Those shadows are amazing they jump out of the photo like 3D!
Loving how the shadows take the main stage in the photo Jude.
They caught my eye. I studied the benches, but wasn’t impressed until I approached them from this side and saw those shadows.
Love that creativity Jude. I know I keep saying it so when you tire of me just tell me to stuff a sock in it. 🙂
Great composition Jude with those shadows sliding up the wall, perfect for B & W. I’m back in Tasmania again this week. https://memoriesaremadeofthisblog.wordpress.com/2015/02/16/bench-series-february-black-white-3
Great shadow and composition. Here’s my entry:
The B&W plays off the shadows perfectly, which really makes this photo 🙂 I’ll check out the others too!
Can’t go wrong with shadows in a b&w image.
True that 🙂
Oh, WHEN am I going to find time to look at all these? Did I hear you mention new baby somewhere, Jude? All fit and well in Wiltshire? 🙂
Oh, yes Jo. Still haven’t seen her, but she is a bonny thing from her photos. I think Mom and Dad have hit the cream-crackered phase now the adrenaline has run out! Hoping to get over this weekend for a cuddle.
