For the month of March I’m looking for Wooden benches

If you would like to join in with the Bench photo challenge then please take a look at my Bench Series page. No complicated rules, just a bench and a camera required 🙂
- Create your own post and title it Bench Series: March
- Include a link to this page in your post so others can find it too
- Add the tag ‘bench series’ so everyone can find the benches easily in the WP Reader
- Get your post in by the end of the month, as the new bench theme comes out on the first Sunday in April
My Picks of the Week:
Cathy has a selection in Victoria, I quite fancy sitting in the rotunda
or perhaps on this small bench (made for skinny people?) under the shade of the tree found by Aletta.
Klara has got an interesting perspective of a bench this week.
Pauline has discovered a bench she had forgotten about, whilst Sylvia takes us to the beach in Sanibel
and Debbie is on Broadway.
Thanks all for joining in with the black and white theme.
Lovely bench. Looks like the perfect place to sit and read.
…and watch butterflies.
I like the benches either side of the ‘hole in the wall’. Nice framing. Your main photo; looks like a scythe is required to get to that one Jude!
Regards as always, Pete. x
It’s in a wildflower meadow Pete around the ‘modern’ cemetery (which has little of the character of the older ones I’m afraid – can’t see photographers flocking to any of these sites in future years) so it is a place of rest and tranquillity, and where you can watch the meadow butterflies.
You have found a very secluded bench for us to sit on this week Jude. I’ve been for a trip to the country look what I found. https://pommepal.wordpress.com/2015/03/01/bench-series-march-1-and-a-walk-through-tyalgum
Nice one PP 🙂
A perfect setting for a bench amid the grass. Here’s mine this week https://dailymusing57.wordpress.com/2015/03/01/sunday-bench-series/
Thanks for joining in 🙂
Lovely place for a bench. Such a peaceful greenery to rest your eyes.
Here is mine this week:

Interesting shape Klara.
An old bench that was refinished. https://ladysighs.wordpress.com/2015/03/01/bench-series-march/
Thanks for this one 🙂
A summer day, a bench in the shade and a good book.
Wonderful photo for your wood bench challenge. Looks soooo inviting. ❤
It is in a very quiet place Tess – just the hum of bees and birdsong.
Sounds divine. ❤
Nicely tucked away behind the grasses 🙂 I still like the yellow, Jude. 🙂
Apparently some people did find it a bit too harsh on the eyes. I kind of miss it too, it was a ray of sunshine when I opened up the blog each day, which is more than we have today 😦
Maybe I’ll get used to this, if not, there will be changes… 😉
Lovely secluded bench, Jude. Now I need to find a wooden bench…
Perhaps not today Sue, it’s a bit wet here…
😃
Looks like high summer, wonderful!
I think it probably was! One of those lovely English dry summer days.
