For the month of March I’m looking for Wooden benches

If you would like to join in with the Bench photo challenge then please take a look at my Bench Series page. No complicated rules, just a bench and a camera required 🙂
- Create your own post and title it Bench Series: March
- Include a link to this page in your post so others can find it too
- Add the tag ‘bench series’ so everyone can find the benches easily in the WP Reader
- Get your post in by the end of the month, as the new bench theme comes out on the first Sunday in April
My Picks of the Week:
Head to Sue’s blog for a secluded bench in a walled garden
Cathy takes us back to her favourite bench
Elaine has a bench with a bite in Louisiana
another bench in a garden from Dawn
whilst Ron joins in from the Pacific Northwest with an unusual style
that is very similar to this one in Glasgow from Anabel’s Travel blog
One from another mission that I have visited from a new entrant, Bebs
and my final pick for this week is from Aletta.
Thanks everyone!
Thanks for the mention.
Some lovely entries, I really like Ron’s.
Ron’s is a winner 🙂
such a pretty setting
lovely and cool in the shade.
Such a peaceful place to sit and meditate. Here is the last of mine for a while Jude.
It’s my favourite of all the California missions I visited. Be over in a while…
A cool place to rest out of the heat. Lovely. 🙂
It was a HOT day considering it was only February. Ah, I miss my California trips in the winter.
California trips in winter wounds lovely. 🙂
Looks like a very cool place to sit and rest a while. 🙂
I have to go with the Salmon bench for the sheer originality. Great series Jude.
Regards as always, Pete. x
Cheers Pete. The one in Glasgow is pretty neat too.
This one is for you Jude!
Thanks Aletta 🙂
Looks like a marvelous spot to sit and rest Jude. Wonderful inviting walkway.
I love the various pictures in this series!
Here is my contribution (I had a problem with aligning the smaller pictures – I still need to work that out) – I hope you like it:

How can I NOT like a post about my favourite South African place. Muizenberg was my home for several years and I shall never forget it. Try putting your smaller photos into a gallery, they might look better that way and it is very easy to do (select create a gallery in Media and then add the photos – choose how to display – square or circles could look best here, but experiment. Save draft and preview until you find what you like)
