Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
OK, no kittens…
but plenty of raindrops on lilies
and these are a few of my favourite things…
Today is the March equinox – the spring (vernal) equinox in the northern hemisphere when the length of the daylight hours equal the length of the night hours (well almost…) and is the beginning of spring according to astrological belief. This year it is also a date for a total solar eclipse and a super moon and the International Day of Happiness! Let the good times begin…
Beautiful flower captures, Especially the water drops 🙂
We arrived in this garden just after a shower so everything was wet and the flowers simply sparkled once the sun shone.
Perfect timing then 🙂
Indeed 😀
Oh, Wise One! 🙂 Why don’t I know these things? Thank you for brightening and enlightening. Happy Spring/Summer to you 🙂
Happy Spring! Beautiful captures ☺ thank you for brightening up our day.
Oh the goodness certainly gets a good start with these lovely bits of Spring you’ve posted! I wish my laptop had “smell-o-vision!”
Ah, yes, nothing better than roses after the rain.
Spring, flowers, you … These are a few of my favorite things 💌
Lovely lilies Jude, one of my favourite flowers.
Regards as always, Pete. x
And let the good times spread far and wide ❤
Gorgeous, Jude, you just made my International Day of Happiness a little bit happier. 🙂
Beautiful captures Jude, love the raindrops. I feel a little lighter knowing today is the first day of spring…thanks for reminding me. 🙂
What a day! And you’ve got the gorgeous photos to prove it! Your post makes me happy Jude. Have a lovely weekend hopefully with lots of spring sunshine. Hubby and I are off to Devon as a belated anniversary getaway. Hope to get some decent pics 🙂 xx
Enjoy Devon – north or south?
Thanks Jude…turned out it wasn’t Devon at all! Hubby booked us in near Bath at Ston Easton (got a great deal otherwise way out of our league, but so worth it for a special occasion). Will do a post next week with pics…got some nice wooden benches for you 🙂 xx
I shall look forward to that – not heard of Ston Easton. Bath is lovely though.
