For the month of April I’m looking for benches with a view

Montreux lakeside
Montreux has a beautiful lakeside promenade lined with palm trees and flowers.

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

    1. I did sit on one for a couple of hours waiting for the OH to arrive from Geneva, lake and people watching. It is one of the nicest promenades alongside a lake that I have seen. The flora is astonishing!

  3. Although the benches are wet, and don’t look to comfortable, I have to go with the view of the Blue Mosque. Fond memories of trips to Istanbul.
