I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling. View all posts by Heyjude

A very satisfying photo: peaceful and abstract. Just what I need 24 hours before departure. (Big bag sealed. Gizmos charging. Cockroach bait to distribute. Won’t see Jo – timing a bit out, and both of us caught up with family.)
You’ll probably be on your way now. Is J going with you this time? Have a safe flight and I shall look forward to Poland in springtime – it will surely be much warmer and more colourful than it was! Shame about Jo, still, next time maybe.
He’s already there – and I may not be! Went to checkin online and my flight begins in Singapore!
Oh, no, how did that happen?
I wasn’t panicked. Rang my travel agency and I was travelling in fact with two different airlines. I’m writing a post called something like blasรฉ or pride before a fall!
Like paint dribbles!
Yes!
I really like the fact you photographed ripples in the water, a really interesting interpretation of the theme.
I struggled with the theme – wanted something a little different. I did consider clouds too ๐
Wow, I just love that. Art in the water ๐
I have a few, but liked this one the best ๐
Gorgeous ๐
Abstract art ๐
Really pretty photo. Love it!
Thank you Carol ๐ I shall get on and write some Cornish posts once I empty my head of houses!!
Water is always so beautifully photogenic ๐
True, and especially when it is blue or green or turquoise… ๐
Lovely reflections Jude, water in all its forms is always in motion. BTW How is the house hunting going?
Hi PP. Thanks for your comment. We have come to a decision as to where to look, which is a major breakthrough. Now just need to find the perfect house, or as near perfect as possible ๐
Back to Penzance at the end of the month so will try and find something then ๐
Good luck Jude in your search. It can be both exciting and frustrating. I once sold real estate in NZ…
Lovely shot and wonderful interpretation of the theme ๐
Lovely, lovely, lovely.
