For the month of May I’m looking for benches at the beach

If you would like to join in with the Bench photo challenge then please take a look at my Bench Series page. No complicated rules, just a bench and a camera required 🙂
- Create your own post and title it Bench Series: May
- Include a link to this page in your post so others can find it too
- Add the tag ‘bench series’ so everyone can find the benches easily in the WP Reader
- Get your post in by the end of the month, as the new bench theme comes out on the first Sunday in June.
My Picks of the Week:
Tish Farrell, a writer on the edge, introduces me to a bench with a view not too far from me, but where I have never been!
Sherri shows us around a lovely parkland with a bench at the beginning and end of her post.
Tgeriatrix joins in this month with two wonderful views: here and here
Cathy is already on the coast, whilst Elaine looks out over a chilly Firth of Clyde.
The Lucid Gypsy is over at Forde Abbey and another newcomer, Ruth, has a fabulous mysterious view.
Thanks to everyone who has joined in this month with their bench views 🙂

Looks like a favourite spot for a little rest and recreation, Jude. What a beautiful seaside view!
St Ives has a lot of these spots 🙂
I may have the perfect shot for this one! Love yours too.
Just want to clarify here…..no rules, just a bench and a camera, right? A bench at the beach? That’s it, right? 🙂
Right! A bench or even multiple benches if you prefer and a beach, preferably in the same shot, but I’ll allow a creative imagination… 😀 😀
Ah, good. Am glad there is always room for creative imagination or….maybe even….. slight rule bends…….stay tuned. Mwhahhhahahahahah!!!
[shakes head and reaches for the wine…]
Bad Jude! Bad!
Someone has a bad influence on me…
I understand….peer pressure is a terrible thing and some role models just don’t take their responsibilities to heart. 😦
And yet……probably better keep it nearby…..
Now that’s a bench I would sit upon and gaze over the shoreline for a long time 🙂
A lovely view right across the bay.
Aah. My aching bones love benches. This one is at the right place at the right time. What a view. I could stay here all day long. ❤ ❤ ❤
And within walking distance of the Tate Modern so you can combine it with some culture 🙂
Purrr-fect! : -)
That Tasmanian view wins hands down. I could sit there for a long time Jude.
Regards as always, Pete. x
Really love your series! Cool concept.
Perhaps you’d like to join in?
I would! Absolutely.
That looks like a very peaceful view, but with many possibilities for a bit of people-watching.
It was very peaceful then (October) not sure what it would be like in August 😉
Good point – it is probably best avoided during that month!
When are you next down there?
Not till the middle of August – prime tourist time of course!
Well this might be a place to escape the crowds 🙂
Sounds like a good idea! 🙂
I’ve come to the conclusion that the best benches are beside the sea but I don’t think I have one for May!
Gilly you MUST have one – you live so close to the sea!! Anyway you have all month to get out there and find one for me 🙂 Not that there is any pressure you understand 😉
hahaha it’s ten miles! I’m sure I’ll find one!
