For the month of May I’m looking for benches at the beach

If you would like to join in with the Bench photo challenge then please take a look at my Bench Series page. No complicated rules, just a bench and a camera required 🙂
- Create your own post and title it Bench Series: May
- Include a link to this page in your post so others can find it too
- Add the tag ‘bench series’ so everyone can find the benches easily in the WP Reader
- Get your post in by the end of the month, as the new bench theme comes out on the first Sunday in June.
This is the last week for benches by the sea, so get them in quickly!
My Picks of the Week:
Carol is a little late for a bench with a view, but as she has a view of bluebells which is appropriate in May, I’ll let her off as you’ll probably enjoy the bluebells.
Another one with an interesting twist is from Klara.
Pauline has an odd looking bench which is definitely ON the beach
More lovely views from Ruth in Hobart
and whilst we are Downunder pop along to read Jill’s story in New Zealand – the efforts some people go to to capture a bench photo for me is admirable 😉
Gilly is on the south-west coastal path, whilst Debbie is still in much warmer climes in Barcelona and my final pick is from Tgeriatrix who has benches in beach baskets – yes you did read that correctly!
Are you back in Cornwell? Lovely rocky bench in a rocky landscape. And there’s ocean, which I may just be missing!
(I scheduled two October benches this morning. How’s that?)
That’s pretty good! Yes we are back in Cornwall though this image is from last month. WiFi dreadful (though we are supposed to have it in the cottage it is not working) so I won’t be doing much. Can’t see images!
When I first saw May’s topic I thought it would be easy but it really hasn’t been! June is a great excuse to play, I’m looking forward to it 🙂
Mot so warm this week. Looks warm but the blue sky is misleading! http://travelwithintent.com/2015/05/31/story-of-a-bridge-oberbaumbrucke/
Nice one Debbie 🙂
What a beautiful blue the sea is Jude. I have just squeezed in with one last beach bench from my home territory. https://memoriesaremadeofthisblog.wordpress.com/2015/05/31/bench-series-last-day-of-may-at-the-beach/
I shall try to have a look PP, but it might be a while 😦
No hurries, no worries Jude. You have much more important things to do at the moment. Good luck….
Thank you! Seen one very nice cottage, but it already has one offer on it 😦
If it is meant for you it will happen, good luck, I’ll keep my fingers crossed…
Thank you PP 🙂
Some nice benches as always, but I have to go with your ‘most southerly’ bench Jude. Good old Lizard!
Regards as always, Pete. x
Ah, thank you Pete, glad you enjoyed the Lizard 🙂
Another beautiful bench scene, Jude. 🙂 A whole week to wait for the June bench theme! 😦
No need to be sad about an extra week by the sea 🙂
A wonderful place for a sit. Sigh. I smell the water and smile into the breeze. 😀 😛 😛
The end of the earth – or at least mainland Britain 🙂
A lovely spot at the end of the earth. 😛 ❤
These will be the last benches from the beach – I look forward to the June Challenge!
Hi Jude, Thanks for the shout out! I have to say that’s really and truly a “bench” seat. Perfect for watching those waves. It’s true that as I get more hooked by photography I will do things and go places that once upon a time I might not have!
I’ll take one more week by the sea – 🙂 – wishing you a good week Jude 🙂
