from every angle

It’s rare for me to photograph anything directly from the front, especially with a subject such as this sundial at Polesden Lacey in Surrey. I mean, which IS the front? So, bearing in mind the direction of the sun let’s consider every angle.

Heyjude

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

    1. …first thing you teach your children, how to safely boil a kettle and how to use a toaster. Cup of coffee and toast in bed on a Sunday morning πŸ˜€
      Second: Duster
      Third: Iron
      Fourth: Cooking

They have to learn somehow you know πŸ˜‰

  1. Lovely subject for this challenge it has presented so many possibilities that you have covered them so well…

    1. My quirky brain saw the word angle and immediately thought of this sundial, admittedly I had just got back home from seeing it. πŸ™‚

  2. You’re the mistress of headers. The header shot’s my favourite. The musician-dancers are great too: cherubs with little kids’ foot movements and plump legs.

    1. Playing the Pan Pipes I think and yes, definitely singing and dancing around, chubby legs kicking away!
