For the month of OctoberΒ I’m looking for a bench with someone or something sitting on it
(any kind of bench will do, but there must be at least one person, animal or object on the bench)

If you would like to join in with the Bench photo challenge then please take a look at my Bench Series page. No complicated rules, just a bench and a camera required π
- Create your own post and title it Bench Series: October
- Include a link toΒ this pageΒ in your post so others can find it too
- Add the tag ‘bench series’ so everyone can find the benchesΒ easily in the WP Reader
- Get your post in by the end of the month, as the new benchΒ theme comes out onΒ the first Sunday in November.
My Picks of the Week:
Isobel has some lovely benches from Camden’s Stable market and Lisa has benches with a view. Β Debbie is back in London and there are more curves from Ruth in Hobart. Meanwhile Elaine has some controversial ‘benches’ – what’s your opinion? And my last pick from the metal series is a sweet bench from Dawn with unusual basket-weave.
As always there are so many delightful benches to view, I hope you will check out the other links within the comment section.
This is a perfect shot for this month’s topic – could there be any more people on that bench? π I love the strong colours.
I agree, those colours are absolutely wonderful. I wish we were a more colourful nation.
I’ve just been thinking that we are quite colourful in the summer, but now that autumn is here everyone has reverted to their dark trousers and coats. Why don’t we have warm clothes in bright colours?
Well, I have a purple fleece jacket for winter. I loathe the beige and browns. And bright scarves help!
π I have bright stuff too – jade green winter coat, lots of bright scarves etc – but the majority of the clothes for sale seem to be in muted colours for this time of year.
I wanted to be that annoying person you always seem to get in your photos – the one in the red jacket! But purple suits me better π
π Perhaps you could have a light red waterproof type jacket that you keep in your bag and can quickly put on over your purple jacket just for the purposes of annoying photos! π
Good thought!
Hi Jude, Love this bench capture! π Here is my entry: https://shareandconnect.wordpress.com/2015/10/09/bench-40-and-flower-of-the-day/
Nice one Amy – what a view!
Thank you for hosting the series! π I’ll try to watch for benches now…
Careful, it becomes addictive!
π
Well done for getting your bench challenge noticed by WordPress, you’ll be really famous now – and perhaps inundated with entries! π
We shall see! Only 3 months left now, where has the year gone?
Here’s another on: https://anotherday2paradise.wordpress.com/2015/10/09/bench-series-40-cute-little-people-on-a-bench/
Very cute little people π
I couldn’t believe my luck when I saw them sitting there. π
Nice of them to sit so still π
Hehehe. Love it, Jude. π
