#WordlessWednesday
I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling. View all posts by Heyjude

Nothing like that light. You feel you ought to be able to bathe it, pour it in a glass with some prosecco, curl up in it. Lovely, Jude.
Yes, please, Tish! 🙂
You can tell Tish is a writer 🙂
How lovely. I think this year’s autumn has had particularly good light/colour (apart from today where it has been pouring so far!).
We had a good couple of months, it seems to have gone downhill since they turned the clocks back though 😦
I felt it was hanging on in here, but today’s rain has really affected things badly – mushy leaves on the pavements now and I’m sure more leaves fell off than before.
I love what the light adds- so beautiful
Amazing image, Jude. Love that autumn light. 🙂
You’ve pinched our light! We haven’t got any up here 😦
I want some of this back too 😦
I gather I’m heading into a deluge tomorrow. Better take the blow up boat 🙂
Oh, no! Soggy fireworks… 😦
Happy birthday for tomorrow – hopefully there will be a lovely log fire to curl up in front of. With a glass or two of wine. Perhaps best NOT to go on the water OR up to the waterfall, we don’t want you slipping over the edge 😉
Sounds a bit boring 😦 😦 Well, not the wine or the cuddle, but I DO like a waterfall 🙂 And thank you!
You are allowed to relax you know 😉
Autumn has a very distinct light doesn’t it? 🙂
It was the day the clocks went back when the light started to fade in mid-afternoon. I spotted the barn and the bales of hay and it just looked so warm. Sadly it has been too foggy and misty here so far this week to see any light!
The ultimate autumn scene Jude, love the lighting…
Lucky sighting Sherri, I was actually heading in the opposite direction, but looked around, ‘just in case’ 😉
It worked 🙂
Lovely golden colours 🙂
I was surprised when I turned around and saw this scene as it was still only mid-afternoon, but on the days that the clocks went back so already the sun was sinking.
Oh, that looks so very restful.
a very rural scene 🙂
I think you must have our light too, Jude. Nothing but grey skies here for the past few days, as well as two days of thick fog and torrential rain.
Maybe next autumn?
Regards as always, Pete. x
Same weather here Pete, this was last weekend when the clocks went back. I wouldn’t take the camera out today!
