For the month of November I’m looking for a bench with either a message OR an Autumnal theme
(any kind of writing will do, it could be a message, a plaque, a dedication or even a map)

If you would like to join in with the Bench photo challenge then please take a look at my Bench Series page. No complicated rules, just a bench and a camera required 🙂
- Create your own post and title it Bench Series: November
- Include a link to this page in your post so others can find it too
- Add the tag ‘bench series’ so everyone can find the benches easily in the WP Reader
- Get your post in by the end of the month, as the new bench theme comes out on the first Sunday in December.
My Picks of the Week:
Some very exciting messages spotted this week – have a look at Violetsky, Anabel and Elaine for interesting inscriptions. And Dawn is looking Shady this week.
Debbie and a newcomer Junk Boat Travels have benches with a political message, who’d have thought that?
Tish as usual has a bench with a story, can’t keep a good writer down, whilst Judy has the most beautiful commemorative bench that I have seen. I’m sure they’d all love you to pop in and say hi.
As always there are so many delightful benches to view, including several newcomers, I hope you will check out the other links within the comment section.
A perfect choice for Autumn Jude – those of us here in the south do miss the glory of Autumn but we feel much better about it when winter sets in up north!
I bet you are! Still you do appreciate a warm sunny day when you have experienced those eternal damp grey days 😉
I am getting serious autumn envy. Such beautiful colours to decorate your bench.
Sounds as though you live in the wrong part of Canada for good autumn colours. Too many of those fir trees? You can share mine for a while longer, but the leaves are gradually coming down 😦
Thinking about Remembrance Sunday yesterday, I remembered this bench: https://anotherday2paradise.wordpress.com/2015/11/09/bench-series-45-heroes-bench/
Thank you Sylvia.
Done it again! I stop to visit the other benches on the way down and can’t remember what I was going to say about yours when I finally get here. 🙂 Grandkids! You’ve been digging in the archives again. You must have been photographing benches since you were young! (ahem 🙂 ) Are there 52 or 53 weeks this year and will you fit all your benches in, or will you have to hand the baton on to someone else?
A few years ago, not that many. Since we moved here anyway. 52 weeks and no, I have many, many benches that will go unpublished 😦 but like all good things the challenge will end at the end of December, unless someone wants to continue it. I have my eye on other things…
At the stroke of midnight…. 🙂
Thank you for the mention. 🙂
The colours in your photo are beautiful – I really must get myself to Wisley before too long!
Hurry before those leaves are gone…
I think, realistically, I’m not going to make it this autumn. I’ll have to get it into my diary for next year!
Or visit in February when the butterflies are in the glasshouse.
Oh, that’s a good idea!
Such a gorgeous autumn scene.
Here is my entry for this week. Enjoy!
Good timing Cee. Thank you.
