Many of my blogging friends already know that I have been hoping to move to the West Country and I am at long last happy to say that it shouldn’t be much longer! So February is filled with de-cluttering, cleaning, packing and LOTS of boxes! Not much time for taking photographs I’m afraid, but I hope you will enjoy my first Cornish sunset with me from my new home.
And, yes, that is MY corkscrew hazel(?) tree 🙂
The Cardinal is continuing his photo project throughout 2016 – a blogging event, a monthly photo challenge. Read his blog for the new rules this year (he is running two versions) and to view his interpretation and those of other participants.

WOW – This is so beautiful – a master piece..
Moving is such a wrench, but worth it when you get there. Especially with sunsets like these to look forward to.
Regards as always, Pete. x
I shall be very glad when the move is all over.
Happy unpacking and settling into your new home. Exciting days of discovery are ahead 🙂
Happy move, Jude, although I’m missing the fact that you won’t be in Ludlow 😦
How exciting Jude. I know you’ve been hankering after heading west. Hope all goes smoothly and that you spend many happy hours in your new home.
Marvellous! Happy future adventures!
Happy house move! Hope all is going smoothly.
Magnificent sunset and I love the shadow of the tree in the center.
I don’t begrudge your packing. Take time to rest sometimes. 😀
Good luck with the boxes! Moving is a hassle! 🙂
Too right. I have done it many times, but this one feels much harder. An age thing probably 😦
I love those corkscrew trees – we have one or two near us. Just think about the result of all the decluttering and packing – it will all be worth it in the end. 🙂
I sincerely hope so Elaine. Feels a bit daunting at the moment.
