maybe not quite what Paula had in mind, but hard to resist a pub sign like this in a back street of St Ives, Cornwall π

Ha! Now that’s a good pub name
First one I’ve seen.
π How cool is that! Walking around with real ferrets would be even quirkier, but not likely to happen, is it? π I just love it. Thank you very much, Jude π
We..ell you never know Paula. I did see a ferret on a lead once, but can’t for the life of me remember where that was.
π
I thought he was supposed to put them down his trousers!
Regards as always, Pete. x
Mebbe that’s just a northern trait π
Makes you wonder what’s in store when you enter that pub. π
Mmm… maybe I’ll risk it one day just to let you know π
Haha, nice one, Jude!
Funny! What a name! π
That’s what struck me!
I love those English pubs and their signs. π And what you get inside! π
Can’t vouch for this one, we didn’t go inside π
Well, with English pubs I have rarely been disappointed.
Perfect for the challenge, Jude. π Have you been in there yet?
Not yet. We’d just had lunch by the beach, but in the interest of this blog and exploring all things Cornish I suppose I shall have to π
Absolutely! It’s your duty. π
I thought you might say that. I have found a hotel with 100 gins and also a store with 200 gins. Maybe I’ll make a start… can see me needing a lot of taxis here π
Hehehe. Take your teapot with you. π
Hard to resist a pub indeed. I know your sort xx
What are you doing here? Shouldn’t you be out having an evening stroll and eating tapas or something?
I can take a hint! Walked my legs off today. Might have to force myself on the poor neighbour tomorrow to watch Rafa v Murray. Depends if it’s sunny xx
You lead such a hard life π
I don’t know how to do a smiley face on my phone. Is that classed as hardship? X Really wet here yesterday but my compensation was watching Rafa at our neighbours and meeting Becky for coffee. Much brighter today so off I toddle. Happy Sunday! Settling in nicely?
Nothing better than coffee with a friend – old or new – or watching tennis. I take it that Rafa won so Andy lost? Have a lovely Sunday – we are supposed to have a good day, but so far it seems to be sunshine and showers. If it is warmer than yesterday then we will venture out.
Monte Carlo or bust! We were out walking today but I was back just in time to see the last couple of games. Success at long last xx
I do wonder how the pub came by it’s name. I have vision of ferrets running about the place. π
Haha.. who knows. I’ll try and find out for you π
