Droplets on barbed wire
A foggy day in Scotland does not bode well for photography, well landscape photography in particular, but focus on the smaller details and even the greyed out landscape plays its part.

This is a very wonderful photo, Jude – the contrast of cold wet wire that cuts with the misty silhouettes. Autumn!
Thanks Tish. I am sure we shall see plenty of this down here too!
Super photograph Jude!
Thank you Adrian.
Lovely photo, Jude.
Thanks Ruth, there really wasn’t a lot to see!
A foreboding shot. Nicely dramatic.
Thank you LD π
The weather certainly helps to create a moody atmosphere in the photo. Love this one Jude.
Thanks Colline π
Nicely done, Jude – very moody
Fog always adds an ethereal quality π
Very atmospheric – I can feel the cold, damp, foggy day from here!
Wasn’t really cold, just damp! And dense! I even had to put the fog lamp on and I have never used that in all the time I have owned this car! 7 years!
The joys of travel in Scotland. π
We were lucky as we only had 3 bad days the entire 3 weeks including a week in Scotland π
You were very lucky! Actually, contrary to popular opinion, Scotland does have lovely weather sometimes, and September can often be beautiful.
We recently had four days of fog and snow for that matter. Very unusual for us. A moody mist definitely.
Fog and snow are not a good combination π¦
Nice textures, too!
