I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

That bridge in London is very photogenic, Jude. I have never actually walked across it, despite living there for so long.
Best wishes, Pete. x
I didn’t walk across it either Pete. Looks a bit wobbly to me!
Great image of the millennium bridge, Jude….nice angles!
I really liked the second image. I would have gone across, but there were too many people and I was starting to get weary feet by then.
Oh, fair enough! I think I once got part way , but that was all!
Oh, yes, definitely not pedestrian! A bridge and a view that i love, and it’s great to see your lively take on it. Excellent!
Thanks Debbie for your kind comment.
Your picture is not dull at all, quite the contrary. What I really like is that you have it in B&W.
Btw, if I remember correctly, it WAS a tad wobbly when my wife and I walked across.
Have a great weekend,
Pit
I think when it was first opened it was too wobbly and they had to make some changes.
I vaguely seem to remember having read something like that.
Great shot! Striking image of the bridge!
Thank you.
Two thumbs-up, especially the second one!
Thanks Jeremy π
It’s a great bridge. I’ve wobbled across it π π Good angles, Jude.
Of course you have. You cannot resist a bridge π
That’s very true. I don’t even mind stepping stones, so long as they’re substantial. π π David home?
He is. Well fed and watered and in bed now! Still coughing…
π¦
I have suggested the doctor and didn’t get my head bitten off π
Poor chap must be ill :(. I’m at peace with the world now, having watched Rafa win Beijing. The last time was 2005, can you believe? π One more walk and I’m gone… for a little while, anyway. Happy Sunday!
You are a Rafa obsessive! And I can’t believe you are leaving me for so long!
He’s worth being obsessed with, and I’m not leaving you behind. The laptop’s going with me, badly behaved though it is. π π
Ah, give it a good talking to!
LOL Jude – loved your juxtaposition!!
Of course I like it, what a great angle!
π
Wonderful shot and love the black and white!
Thanks, I quite liked the way that one came out too π
