Square September: Pink

Becky’s September square photo challenge Day 6!  She would like us to share photos which embrace ‘pink’ –  there could be pink in the photo, the subject or photographer could be ‘tickled pink’*, or indeed looking ‘in the pink’*.  A photo that manages to do all three things is the ultimate offering.

In remembrance of my lovely mother who would have been 99 years old today, but who sadly died in 1995 aged just seventy-six.

*in the pink’ means in perfect condition, or in good health, and ‘tickled pink’ means delighted.

Heyjude

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

  1. Ahh Jude this is so touching, 76 isn’t very old these days is it? I wonder what she would have thought about this blogging think with your friends around the world reading this and sending you (((hugs)))

    1. She’d have thought I was daft. She already thought I was daft going to university to study computer science at the age of 35. She thought I should have taken a check-out job at ASDA. We didn’t always see ‘eye-to-eye’ 😀
