Becky’s September square photo challenge Day ten! She would like us to share photos which embrace ‘pink’ – there could be pink in the photo, the subject or photographer could be ‘tickled pink’*, or indeed looking ‘in the pink’*. A photo that manages to do all three things is the ultimate offering.
South Beach, Miami, Florida.
*‘in the pink’ means in perfect condition, or in good health, and ‘tickled pink’ means delighted.
September Squares | Pink
Since this started, I have been looking for ‘Pink’ around Beetley. But aside from a few late flowers, I haven’t seen anything even ‘pinkish’. 🙂
I did see a pink car, in Tesco’s car park in Dereham. It was a Fiat 500, driven by a young lady. But that’s the closest so far.
Best wishes, Pete. x
Norfolk as drab, Pete?? Surely not, look a bit more carefully….
I will hunt more carefully for pink in Beetley. I don’t see much else of Norfolk at the moment. 🙂
Keep hunting Pete, it’s out there!!
I will try, Becky. But it’s not a very ‘pink’ place! 🙂
Hope it changes this weekend for Heritage Open Days!
Oh….perhaps it’s just Brown Beetley, then?
And green. Lots of green. 🙂
That has to be good!
Pink cars always belong to young ladies!
I wouldn’t mind one, if it was one of those American ones from the 1950s. 🙂
Ah, the big pink Cadillac! Yes that would be nice.
It’s interesting what some of us have in our archives, Jude. This is an interesting composition, but how on earth did you know that Becky would be having a square pink challenge? I suppose it was inevitable, at some point 🙂 🙂
Many of these pink photos wouldn’t have seen the light of day of it weren’t for Becky!
Fantastic, that’s what every challenge should do – bring things out of the archives or send Pete hunting in Norfolk!
You’ve got some interesting photos in your catalogue, Jude.
My intention this winter is to purge my photo folders and reduce them down to the best fifty. I have far too many that I shall never use and far too many to look at.
