Silent Sunday

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling. View all posts by Heyjude
That’s a nice classic goose shot, Jude.
Best wishes, Pete.
Sigh…. sometimes I really wonder if it is worth adding tags and categories.
😉
Sorry. I should have known they were cygnets. Blame it on the time change! 🙂 🙂 x
Heehee…
dark already and I am not liking it 😦
So pretty. I ca. almost forget the smell and the noise 😀
This pair are cygnets. I didn’t notice any smell or noise around them. But then they do tend to stay on the water more than geese.
Forehead slap 😬
Heehee…
What a lovely shot. Cygnets into swans (shut up Danny Kay – who asked you in here).
It’s impossible not to think of that song!
beautiful
I thought so. I was watching them play around on Lake Geneva. Eventually they curled up and went to sleep with their heads tucked under their wings!
Oh how lovely. What wonderful memories to accompany the photos.
Caught on the brink of adulthood. Nice composition
This is alovely shot – the air seems so clear and crisp too. 🙂
Late September in Geneva, but unseasonably warm.
Ahh lovely teenagers 🙂
