I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

Hope you’re going forward into 2019 with a positive outlook and a smile on your face. 🙂 🙂 It’ll be many years since I didn’t watch the London fireworks on TV but I’ll be by the bridge at Tavira this year, looking skywards.     1. I thought the wings were quite sweet! I think NYE is overrated, never been a favourite of mine so I shall more than likely be in bed by the time the clock chimes, unless old Hootenanny Jools can keep me awake! Watching fireworks from the Tavira bridge does sound enjoyable. I am sure you and Mick are going to have a ball in 2019 settling into your new home.

      1. Washing is nearly dry now. We’ve had a rare lazy Sunday morning. Off to make him some food and then we’ll see… 🌞🌞

    1. I think I will be happier once we have the conservatory issue sorted. At the moment it weighs on my mind.
