Andrew of ‘Have Bag, Will Travel’ is running a weekly challenge all about photographs of washing lines. I knew I had a couple of rather lovely washing lines, but a look through my archives resulted in a few more. This one is from Malta.

Love the stripy towels, and the way every inch is used.
I guess in a city / country with not much in the way of outside space you have to be inventive.
Love the crazy angle Jude. Wonderful image 🙂 🙂
Difficult shot as we were on a road high above, hence the drunken angle!
I think that penultimate word tells us all!!
I love the angle of this shot
You’re not going to accuse me of having imbibed too much wine are you? I had to go to great lengths to get this shot!
😉 However it was achieved … love it!
What a fabulous photo! It’s so creative how much washing has been hung up in such a small area. In many places here in Australia, the body corporate who manage various buildings don’t allow laundry to be dried on balconies…spoilsports! 😂
I wrote a post about washing lines but from a more mundane perspective of suburban Brisbane. 😜
Well I am sure Andrew would love to read your post, if you haven’t already linked to his challenge!
Ooh, brilliant! How did I miss it?
Only a day late!
😄😄
Aren’t those stripy towels cheery. It’s very difficult to find towels with any pattern on them – solid colour seems to be the fashion these days. Lovely photo, Jude.
Beach towels? They always seem to be the most colourful.
