The October theme offers something for absolutely everybody – a chance to share past posts, past squares and glimpses of the past. I’m going to mix it up a bit, with photos that have appeared in previous Square challenges, some that didn’t make the final and some new photos that would have done. Day 16
Lines – october 2019 / Perspective July 2020
If you want to join in either daily, weekly or just on the odd occasion then please visit Becky, the only rule is that the photo MUST be a square – that is four equal sides! You have been warned 😉
Apparently there’s a digital filter that makes a photograph look like a woodcut.
Pen and Ink effect.
It’s very effective and looks very like a woodcut to me too.
This looks like a very detailed ink drawing. The photo effect is great.
That was the filter I used!
Interesting
You know I am going to say it, so I will.
I might prefer the original photo. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete. x
I think in this instance the edited version is better as it shows the contrast between the lines of wood of the boardwalk and the tangle of the foliage.
When I first looked at this my initial thought was Beardsley even though the content was nothing like Beardsley’s work. Love the effect you achieved.
Thanks Mari.
The effect worked perfectly for that theme.
Thanks Janet.
I love it!
😊
Yay for your filters – this is wonderful
