The October theme offers something for absolutely everybody – a chance to share past posts, past squares and glimpses of the past. I’m going to mix it up a bit, with photos that have appeared in previous Square challenges, some that didn’t make the final and some new photos that would have done. Day 27
Blue – July 2019 / Spiky – March 2019 / sky – December 2017
If you want to join in either daily, weekly or just on the odd occasion then please visit Becky, the only rule is that the photo MUST be a square – that is four equal sides! You have been warned 😉
A quick glance had me thinking this was a ragged windmill! Then I concentrated, and could see it was a palm of some kind. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
windmill?!!! Thank goodness you took a second look
My eyes are not so great, Becky. I have glaucoma, cataracts, and wear +3 reading glasses! 🙂
I never knew that Pete.
I have had glaucoma since 2007. The cataracts were spotted here at Norwich hospital in 2013, and are awaiting surgery. I am compelled to wear bifocals for driving or surrender my licence, and although my distance vision is good (no glasses for camera viewfinders) I cannot read a book or a blog post without +3 reading glasses. I don’t talk about it that much. It’s just old age. 🙂 x
The OH has been told he is developing cataracts, but no treatment necessary as yet.
I was offered surgery on one eye, but then Covid came along, and I haven’t heard a thing for almost 2 years. x
oh no, that’s tough Pete. You are amazing at how much you do
Not that bad really. I can see a long way without glasses, as long as I don’t have to read anything! 🙂
That’s good 🙂
Looking forward to seeing our palms daily once more – not long to go now 🙂
Poor thing looks a bit tattered!
That battered frond has a story to tell I’m sure.
