During this year I shall be posting photographs from places around the UK, many of which have not been published before. Where I have previously blogged about a location I will provide a link to the post, though you won’t be able to comment on it as I restrict comments to six months.
Let’s start with A for Aberdovey/Aberdyfi.

I didn’t know very much about Wales before I met the OH and moved to live with him in Shrewsbury in 2002. Weekends saw us popping over the border on many occasions. This was on a very cold February day and I recall having a lovely lunch in the picturesque Dovey Inn overlooking these stunning views of the estuary.

This is a great idea Jude. I’m looking forward to H for Harrogate, R for Ripon and Y for Yorkshire π
Haha… I could use Yorkshire!
Or you could do Yeovil, or Yarm, or Yate, or Yarmouth, or …. talking you out of Yorkshire now though”
Youll have to wait and see π
Impatient now! That’s 25 weeks to go!
Or Ynys Pandy
… or Yeadon. This saga could run and run π
Certainly couldβ¦
Aberdovey is one of our favourite places too, and you’ve caught it so beautifully in the February light.
Indeed. It is quite lovely over there.
A great plan for the year. And what beautiful views you have shared, Jude. I think Aberdovey may get a rush of visitors!
Hopefully I will introduce people to less known places.
Great shot for starters, Jude.
Thank you. Virtual travel π
So you were lovey-dovey in Aberdovey.
I knew that I could count on you π
So lovely, Jude. Happy Sunday. xx
Thanks Sylvia. Hope all is good over there.
Looking forward to this series, Jude. I have been to Wales many times, but only know Pembrokshire well, as I have been there at least 6 times. I will be hoping for some good tips of other places to visit.
Best wishes, Pete. x
Some letters may be a little more challenging.
Love this idea! Keeps those creative juices flowing and doesn’t limit you to travelling too far afield π
A good way to go through old folders and delete the rubbish!
Love this idea Jude. Look so forward to where you take us! Aberdovey looks like a glorious start!
Thanks for joining me Lynn, we’ll be zooming all around the UK. Except for Northern Ireland as I have never been there.
I look so forward to reading about the areas you are are covering!
The landscape reminds me very much of where you find yourself now, Jude. Did the conversation with Denzil the other day spark this, or had you already the series in mind? I like it!
I’ve been thinking of a way to use this blog. Andrew’s A-Zs sent me in this direction. Hopefully I will have other places to explore this year.
Makes sense. A-Zs have been around for a long time.
He goes to such lengths to recycle his old material. Makes me smile though. π
Yes. I agree, his posts often make me chuckle. He does come out with some outrageous comments. I often feel sorry for Kim.
No worries, she can hold her own, and is absolutely lovely.
