I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling. View all posts by Heyjude

It’s so beautiful.
Excellent craftsmanship.
Ah. I love a good cloister. Like here.
I liked these from the outside, but my favourite cloisters are probably Durham, I just caught the light there and it was magical.
Durham is my favourite Cathedral, without a doubt. But this was a lovely shot.
Me, too! Never been to Salisbury, though.
My first visit. I just had to go there, even though my enjoyment of cathedrals has waned. And I daren’t even think about looking at the misericords!
😁❤️
I, too, love a good cloister!
I think there are a lot of us who really like cloisters.
This is beautiful!
Thank you.
I like the symmetrical aspect, which makes the photo so much more interesting.
Best wishes, Pete. x
Yes, it’s a lovely pattern.
A very restful shot, just like the cloisters themselves 🙂
Apparently Britain’s largest cathedral cloisters.
Very pleasing symmetry. Lovely.
I love the contrast of the green and the white and grey of the building.
I love the symmetry of this type of architecture. It’s so beautiful.
