Becky is back with another Square Challenge this January.
We’ll mostly be looking for shapes and lines, or anything geometric that has been created by animators, architects, artists, astronomers, carpenters, cartographers, designers, engineers, landscape gardeners, navigators, scientists, urban planners, and . . . . . Well everyone really as this branch of mathematics seems to be part of everyday life.

Geometric Squares | Day 16
If you want to join in either daily, weekly or just on the odd occasion then please visit Becky, the only rule is that the photo MUST be a square – that is four equal sides! You have been warned 😉
Wonderful leaves for the challenge Jude
Beautiful pattern.
this one pops out of the screen – wonderful.
Been thinking of you lots this week – hope it is proving to be a lighter week. This time of year is so hard
I’m still struggling to get over the flu. Horrible cough lingering on which makes me tired. There has been some sun this week though, so I have had a look around the garden. Looking pretty awful really. Very soggy. And some bulbs have already been eaten by something which is dispiriting.
Oh no, horrible. Heard it’s a nasty flu virus this year. Hope more sunshine and less bulb eating happens this weekend xx
Me too! I’d really like to get out and do some more clearing of old stuff, but I do need to have more energy I think before I do anything.
yes try and be wise and rest for a few more days at least – you don’t want a setback
Very pretty, Jude.
I just hope they come back. Last year they were badly eaten by slugs.
Ugh! You feeling a bit more chirpy? X
First coffee this morning in two weeks! Coughing less, but still very tired. Sunny days help, but I am not up to a walk yet.
We’re just back from a roughly 8km riverside stroll and lunch in Tavira. Making the most of glorious days because rain is forecast next week xx
I could probably manage a 2km stroll on the flat, and lunch. Clouded over here now, but still dry.
The natural world does it for you again, Jude!
I do seem to have focused on the natural world.
Good for you! Your ‘thing’.
I love those leaves, but never knew the name of the plant.
Best wishes, Pete. x
It’s perfect for a shady spot (if it doesn’t get eaten).
Isn’t this a pretty plant. It would look lovely with a few planted all together.
Lovely brunnera – I have some here in the shade under a tree and am hoping that it can survive our dry summers.
Mine has been wonderful for years, but suffered badly last spring. Fingers crossed it will be drier this year though the garden is very wet at the moment.
And mine is likely to suffer from the opposite – argh! Fingers crossed that both will be OK this year!
