Becky is back with another Square Challenge this January.
We’ll mostly be looking for shapes and lines, or anything geometric that has been created by animators, architects, artists, astronomers, carpenters, cartographers, designers, engineers, landscape gardeners, navigators, scientists, urban planners, and . . . . . Well everyone really as this branch of mathematics seems to be part of everyday life.

Geometric Squares | Day 27
If you want to join in either daily, weekly or just on the odd occasion then please visit Becky, the only rule is that the photo MUST be a square – that is four equal sides! You have been warned 😉
loving the splash of colour on the doors, but the coordinated part of me wants the umbrellas to match up!
I know what you mean! I would have cropped out the parasols but couldn’t make it square.
oh she’s such a pain the host isn’t she insisting on squares!
What’s wrong with brollies that don’t match?
nothing – I am just wanting them to line up with the lines behind!!
Haha…
I remember this place from an earlier photo, but I’ve never been to Porthgwidden.
Yes, they have probably featured in other posts on the Cornwall blog.
I like that tight crop, very effective 🙂
Tbh I’m not so keen on this one, but I was feeling too ill to change it.
Oh dear, I’m sorry – hope you feel better soon 🤗
I’m amazed the changing rooms have survived into this century.
Best wishes, Pete. x
About £200 to rent for a week in summer. Not bad if you plan to spend a lot of time on the beach and can store chairs and swimming stuff so you’re not having to lug it from the car park or holiday home.
Lovely colours. My second seasidey post of the evening – just the thing for this miserable January.
Despite the storms we have seen some sun this month. Too cold and windy to go outdoors though and most of the month I’ve been feeling rubbish.
Are you recovered now?
Almost. Still coughing and tired.
🙁
Sorry you are still not feeling great.
That’s a splash of cheerful colour! I like the umbrellas too.
Hope you’re feeling better by now, Jude. I like the contrast between the curves and the straight lines in the photo.
