Hotels and houses clinging to the edge of the cliffs, yachts floating in the harbour and long evening shadows of people walking at the edge of the sea. Could be the Mediterranean.

It could be a lot of places, but I am going to guess one. Tenby?
It’s a longshot though…Looks a bit too green on the cliffs.
Regards as always, Pete. x
You win the prize Pete! What? No prize? Oh, well, if there was one you’d win as you are spot on. Yes glorious Tenby with its three beaches, golden sands, blue water… very much like St Ives would have been 50 years ago without the crowds.
So it was September? that explains the green, and the quieter beach.
I am inordinately proud of myself to have guessed correctly. Goes to show I am easy to please these days Jude! x
😆 😀
Big beach….Norfolk??
Big beach indeed, in fact there are three of them, but not Norfolk Sue – Norfolk would be less green. It is Tenby, Wales, in September!
Aha! I was only doing a stab in the dark!!
Simply gorgeous 🙂
Thank you 🙂
Deceptive… Arabian Peninsula??
Really? Have you been there? No I’m afraid you must have eaten too much cake Simone 😉
It’s Tenby, Wales.
No, I haven’t. You’ve just destroyed my romantic illusions…
Oops, sorry! Now you’ve got me thinking about the Arabian peninsula…
Wales? need to know!!!!
Yup! Well done you! But I believe you have actually been here before?
Tenby in all her Autumn beauty.
A beautiful beach image, Jude. 🙂
But where is it Sylvia?
Pembrokeshire. 😕
Another great guess! Yes, it is Pembrokeshire, and the jewel in the crown – Tenby. Doesn’t it look lovely?
Yes it certainly does. I’ve never been to Tenby. 🙂
Have you been to Wales? I can’t remember where your family are in the UK.
You’re not usually coy about naming places. Come on. Where is it? Not that it matters hugely: they’re still stunning shots, especially the shadows and shoals in the second one, and the vibrant colours and shadows in the first one.
Thought I’d have a bit of fun Meg, to liven up a dull weekend here. I know folks love to guess places. It is Tenby, Pembrokeshire, Wales on a late September evening last year. Looks pretty good, eh? Thanks for you lovely comment, I’m glad you like the shadows, you also have a bit of a ‘thing’ with shadows, I recall 🙂
It could be the Bay of Kefalos in Kos is the Mediterranean suddenly dropped it’s water level! Simply beautiful Jude 🙂
It’s far from Kos, but it does look beautiful. Tenby, Wales. Worth a visit if you haven’t been there Sarah.
One of the few places in Wales that I’ve not been too! It does look quite stunning 🙂
Somewhere quite a bit cooler than the Med!
Interesting comment. What makes you think that then Gilly?
Jude I am enthralled with the shadow of the rocks and the people. Adds such interest to an already beautiful photo.
It was the shadows that caught my eye, plus the guy with the metal-detector!
