I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling. View all posts by Heyjude

Absolutely beautiful, Jude! 🙂 Applause, applause! 🙂
The composition here is great – I also like the hands as you noted above – and I like the cultural feel – with the framing that is done by the trees and then the beach – also – still processing this tasty shot – but when the eye moves up it feels the texture change – form the shirt – to the heavier head wrapping – to the hard pot – it really is a great take on the challenge –

Thank you Yvette for taking the time to study the image(s). I really appreciate your feedback.
Love how the wrinkles of the water carrier’s turban are repeated on his sleeves.
I’ve been enjoying surfing your posts so thought it would be polite leaving a small note so you know who’s been visiting:) Love this picture, amazing how they still carry water the old way.
Thank you for looking around. I really appreciate it and your comment too 🙂
