WPC: Humanity

Water Carrier – India

Published by

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

  1. The composition here is great – I also like the hands as you noted above – and I like the cultural feel – with the framing that is done by the trees and then the beach – also – still processing this tasty shot – but when the eye moves up it feels the texture change – form the shirt – to the heavier head wrapping – to the hard pot – it really is a great take on the challenge –

  2. I’ve been enjoying surfing your posts so thought it would be polite leaving a small note so you know who’s been visiting:) Love this picture, amazing how they still carry water the old way.
