The Bon Bon Fine Chocolate Café is found at the Pitt Street, Strand Arcade location (Sydney) and has some of the most stunning glass sparkling chandeliers that I have ever seen outside of a stately home.

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling. View all posts by Heyjude

… and I never even noticed !!!!!!!
😦
It’s true what they say about one being totally non-observant of one’s familiar environment.
X !
Well to be fair you probably don’t spend a lot of time in a chocolate shop! Or looking up!
I am SO LUCKY not to be a chocoholic !!!
Wow they are gorgeous!
Aren’t they fab? Need very high ceilings though.
They are quite awesomely sparkly!
…awesomely sparkly sounds good 😀
Well, could be sparklingly awesome, I suppose 😀
I am a total sucker for chandeliers! Maybe i really was born to inhabit a grand mansion? 🙂
as long as you can afford the cleaners – I wouldn’t like to have to dust these!
Dust? Does not compute 🙂 🙂
You mean to tell me that you don’t own a fabulous feather duster???
I believe my daughter does 🙂
(To quote M-R): Pfuh!!
Those are some serious chandeliers for a cafe Jude!
Regards as always, Pete. x
A serious chocolate café Pete, with some serious prices I imagine…
These are magnificent, Jude. They must create a wonderful ambiance for the lovers of decadent delights visiting this café. 🙂
There weren’t many people inside, but it smelled very nice 😉
Hi Jude! It seems ages since I was over here, I’m only just now slowly getting back into blogging and wanted to pop over and see what you are up to and say I hope you had enjoyed your lovely low-key Christmas and to wish you a very Happy New Year. I’ll try to get my first post of the year out this weekend and get back over here to catch up with your posts and all that you got up to on your hols. Love chandeliers, these are the perfect sparkle for the new year…see you soon my friend 🙂 xx
Nice to see you again Sherri. Hope you had a good holiday time with the family. We’re off to meet up with the English family next weekend so I hope the weather behaves itself!
Thanks Jude, you too! We had a lovely Christmas, but it went too fast! That will be lovely for you, yes, let’s hope the weather behaves. We are going down to Lewes to see sons again and eldest son’s girlfriend as we didn’t get to see her at Christmas. Will take the loot they left behind!
Dazzling display alright! Can you imagine cleaning those? Wonderful photo, though.
I imagine if you can afford these you can also afford a cleaner. A very careful cleaner!
Careless and passionate about his or her work. I wouldn’t have the patience.
That is some very serious sparkle!
I was taken aback when I spotted them – difficult to get a good shot though as it was very dark inside (despite all those lights).
Oh my! They are magnificent, and not quite what you would expect to see in a cafe (even if it is a chocolate one!). 🙂
I suspect a VERY expensive chocolate one too Elaine 😉
