For the month of February let’s see your benches processed in Black and White

Check out these Tips for B&W photography.
If you would like to join in with the Bench photo challenge then please take a look at my Bench Series page. No complicated rules, just a bench and a camera required 🙂
- Create your own post and title it Bench Series: February
- Include a link to this page in your post so others can find it too
- Add the tag ‘bench series’ so everyone can find the benches easily in the WP Reader
- Get your post in by the end of the month, as the new bench theme comes out on the first Sunday in March
My Picks of the Week:
The Wandering Poet – now isn’t that a great blog title? With an amazing perspective of a bench.
Some winter benches from Meg in Warsaw (and an explanation here)
Something very odd in London from Debbie
A lovely view over the Caloosahatchee River from Sylvia.
Ladysighs has more poignant poems about benches for us to enjoy.
A sweet spot to relax in from Issy this week aptly named ‘Rendezvous’
Thanks to everyone who has joined in with this challenge so far.
I like the way the theme benches hover shyly on the edge of the photo. That bridge is a beauty.
A real B+W bridge-fest this week Jude. I really like the unusual’water-pump’ bench, and the one around the base of the tree is classic.
I have a link to a bench for you. http://golondon.about.com/od/londonpictures/ig/Less-seen-Sights/Roosevelt—Churchill-statue.htm
I have a framed photo of my Mum sitting between these two, on our way to The Ritz, for her 80th birthday tea.
Regards as always, Pete. x
What a great spot for a birthday photo Pete. She must have been quite slim to fit in between those two! What memories the photo must bring you.
What a fantastic concept
Lovely place for a picnic, Jude. Thanks for the mention. 🙂
Mine’s up and its exotic!
Another magnificent perspective. Love the benches.
Here is my bench ( or what’s left of it being occupied by teenagers on a recess)

Thanks Klara 🙂
I’m enjoying this series, Jude. We’ve been out snapping a few today. Whether they’ll ever make it to the blog I don’t know but we had fun 😀
Fun is important 🙂
I love the view- I would like to sit on those benches. Here’s mine this week https://dailymusing57.wordpress.com/2015/02/08/bench-series-february/
Thanks again 🙂
Great spot for benches. And I love that bridge!
The bridge is a cool shape.
